Setup Guide - Outlook Express 4.5 E-mail (Apple Macintosh)

  1. Ensure the E-mail option (beneath the Accounts section of the category window at left) is highlighted.
  2. Type your name in the Full name box.
    • E-mail messages you send will contain the name you enter here, as the sender.
  3. Type your Chariot Email Address in the E-mail address box.
  4. Optionally, type the name of your company or organisation in the Organization box.
  5. Type your SMTP Server in the SMTP server box.
  6. Type the beginning part of your Chariot username in the Account ID box.
  7. Type your POP3 Server in the POP server box.
  8. Place a tick in the Save password tickbox, and type your Chariot password.
    • The password will be displayed as a series of dot characters.
    • Placing a tick in the Save password tickbox will not negate the need to enter your Chariot password when connecting to the Internet.
  9. In the Account name box, type a name for this account, such as My Chariot E-mail.
  10. Click the OK button to finish.
